I’m an AI/ML Engineer at Rime Labs, where I work on data pipelines and models for text-to-speech. Before that I completed a PhD in Linguistics at Stanford, advised by Dan Jurafsky, researching data-centric speech and language technologies for digitally underserved languages.

My through-line is turning messy, unstructured text and audio into something useful — datasets for training models, or typeset content for print — for people and languages that off-the-shelf tools don’t serve well.
